Salary Range in India

Actuarial salaries can vary significantly depending on the number of professional exams cleared.

At the trainee or early analyst level, salaries may start around ₹4–8 lakh per annum. Candidates who clear multiple actuarial papers and gain relevant experience may earn around ₹8–20 lakh per annum. Qualified and experienced actuaries can earn ₹20–40 lakh per annum or significantly more, particularly in senior, specialist or leadership positions.

Unlike many careers, actuarial salary growth is often strongly connected to exam progress, technical expertise and work experience.
